Know Your 2021 Baseball Card Grading Companies

The three main companies that grade baseball cards are Beckett Grading Services (BGS), SGC, and PSA. Most sellers prefer BGS for modern cards, and for the vintage ones, PSA is popular. All three companies use a 1-10 grading scale, but BGS allows “half” grades (such as 8.5), and the SGC grades on a 1-100 scale that is then translated from 1-10.
